John Loughlin died August 1, 2011 at the age of 63. According to information posted on FOL, he had most recently hunted with Battle Creek, and had previously hunted with Low Country, The Camden Hunt, Tryon Hounds, Green Creek Hounds, and Mecklenburg Hounds.
